Rosemary bread
Rosemary bread
Ingredients:
2 cup bread flour
1 cup all purpose flour
1 ½ tablespoon dried yeast
2 tablespoon sugar
1 cup warm water
Salt
Dried Rosemary: 3 tablespoon
¼ cup Olive oil
2 tablespoon butter
Method:
Take warm water, sugar and yeast in a bowl and leave it for 15min.
Sieve the flour into a bowl and add salt. Mix it thoroughly.
Add the yeast mixture to the flour and kneed thoroughly with a blender or with hand. Use water if required.
Once dough is ready, cover the bowl in clin film and keep it in a warm place for 1hr. Let the dough raise.
After one hour, you will see dough has doubled in size.
Punch to release the air.
Add rosemary and kneed the dough using butter.
Tuck the dough into a bowl shape and place it on a baking tray with parchment paper.
Cover the tray with a cloth or plastic and allow it to raise for 30 to 40min.
Once the dough is doubled half of its size, it's ready to bake.
Bake the bread for 30min at 350°.
Once it's completely baked, remove it from oven and allow it cool completely before serving.
Tips:
Use good quality active yeast.
You can add garlic powder too.
You can use just the all purpose flour, but it will have less chew than the bread flour which will have gluten.
Regular cooking oil also can be used instead of olive but olive tastes better.
