oats apple porridge

Oats apple porridge 


This recipe was made for my 2 year old son.  You can adjust the quantity as you need.
Below recipe serves one meal for a toddler.

Ingredients:
2 tablespoon oats
2 tablespoon vermicelli
1 apple
Ghee
Salt
Jaggery
1 teaspoon almond powder
1 cup of Water/milk

Method:
1. Take water in a cooking bowl and add oats and vermicelli. I've used water but you can also use milk. Milk makes it rich. 
2. Add salt and jagerry as per you taste.
3. Let it completely boil till it turns soft.
4. Turn off the stove and add among powder.
5. Grate the apple into the porridge and mix it thoroughly.
6. Serve warm to your baby with some ghee.


Tips:
You can roast the vermicelli and oats prior to cook.
You can top up with some dry fruits and other fruits also like strawberry prunes.
If you have not given raw apple to your kid,  you can add it oats and boil along with them.
